It's a very nice little town in a string of four on Route 1--Thomaston, Rockland, Rockport, and Camden (likely being the most famous). This spot "in the middle" offers very easy access to all four towns, with great restaurants and downtown shopping.

Nice little city on the shore. Lots of seafood places to eat but otherwise a food desert.

Listen to Scott and go to McLoon's. Even if you don't eat, the views are worth it.
