Excellent
Even though it has been pouring, it is a great visit. Three cool museums and sea lions coming in with the tide feasting on salmon were fun to watch, no matter how drenched we got! Excellent places to eat on the harbor. Different excursions, too.

Valdez is a wonderful city. Lots of things to explore and do if you are into outdoor activities. Lacking in many city things so don't expect to go shopping and find an array of food choices.

It rains alot, but its sights are well known. There are a few goid restaurants.
"All around great! I read reviews so when I saw the good reviews and high rating on Hotel Glacier, we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did! The hotel didn't look like much on the outside but the lobby was nice and clean. Check-In was easy. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. $100/night less expensive than another nearby option. We will definitely stay at Hotel Glacier when we return to Valdez and would highly recommend."
