Kiwanda Shores
Kiwanda Shores sits at the doorstep of Pacific City's natural wonders, where the golden cliffs of Cape Kiwanda meet the endless Pacific. Watch dory boats launch through crashing waves, climb the massive sand dune, or simply stare at the iconic Haystack Rock rising from the surf. The wide sandy beaches invite you to surf, build sandcastles, or just lose yourself in the rhythm of the tides. Pelican Pub & Brewery offers craft beer with ocean views, perfect after a day of beach adventures. Vacation rentals dominate the lodging scene, from cozy cottages to luxury oceanfront homes with hot tubs and decks. You'll need your own wheels here – this peaceful coastal haven trades public transit for pristine natural beauty.

Shorepine Village
Shorepine Village offers a peaceful escape among whispering pines just steps from Pacific City's dramatic coastline. Days here revolve around beach adventures at Cape Kiwanda, climbing the iconic Haystack Rock, or exploring Bob Straub State Park's unspoiled trails. The natural surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for stargazing, wildlife spotting, and reconnecting with nature. Vacation homes nestled among shore pines create a cozy retreat where the scent of salt air mingles with pine. Most travelers prepare meals in well-equipped rental kitchens, though Pacific City's dining options are just a short drive away. A personal vehicle is essential for exploring this tranquil coastal gem.

Four Sisters
Four Sisters offers a laid-back beach escape where Pacific City's natural wonders take center stage. The neighborhood puts you steps from dramatic Cape Kiwanda sandstone cliffs and magnificent Haystack Rock views. Coastal paths wind through dunes and shore pine groves, leading to wide sandy beaches perfect for long walks, surfing, and beachcombing. Stargazing and beach bonfires replace formal nightlife in this peaceful setting. Vacation rentals and beach cottages with decks and fireplaces dominate the accommodation scene. You'll need to drive into Pacific City proper for seafood restaurants and basic supplies. The neighborhood's quiet residential streets and natural dune landscapes create the perfect atmosphere for travelers seeking a genuine Oregon coast experience.

Woods
Woods is a hidden coastal retreat where you can escape the tourist crowds and experience Oregon's natural beauty up close. Explore the nearby Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge or take short drives to Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area and Haystack Rock for stunning ocean views. This peaceful residential community offers the perfect base for beach adventures and quiet contemplation among coastal forests. Vacation rentals and cozy bed & breakfasts make up the main accommodation options with better prices than flashier beach towns. A personal vehicle is essential for getting around, as public transit is limited. While dining options are scarce in Woods itself, nearby Cloverdale provides all the necessities for your relaxing coastal getaway.

Haystack Heights
Haystack Heights delivers Pacific City's natural magic with its dramatic Haystack Rock rising from sandy shores. Beachcombers can explore tide pools teeming with starfish and sea anemones while photographers capture stunning coastal landscapes. The neighborhood's direct beach access means sunset strolls and surfing are just steps away from your door. Weather-worn cedar cottages and beach homes blend seamlessly with the coastal landscape. Fresh seafood spots serve Pacific Northwest specialties, though many operate seasonally. Most visitors bring their own wheels as public transit is limited, but the neighborhood's sandy paths make exploring on foot a breeze.

Learn more about Pacific City
Climb the towering sand dune at Cape Kiwanda for views that explain why photographers camp out for sunset shots of Haystack Rock. The Pacific crashes dramatically against this natural area while dory boats launch directly from the beach in a century-old tradition. After working up an appetite, fresh-caught seafood awaits at waterfront eateries where locals debate which spot serves the best fish tacos. Explore the wildlife-rich wetlands of Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge, where binoculars reveal migrating birds against mountain backdrops. Bob Straub State Park offers miles of uncrowded beach perfect for long walks without seeing another soul. For the full experience, time a visit to watch the dory fleet return with their catch – a spectacle that hasn't changed in generations.

Inn at Cape Kiwanda
"The room was clean and well maintained, but the shower leaked under the shower door, and damage was beginning to form. The amenities are good but also shared with the RV park behind the hotel. The balcony view was excellent, and it's a very short walk to the beach. Plenty of nice restaurants are within walking distance as well."
Siletz Bay Beachfront Hotel by OYO Lincoln City
"Clean, well maintained, a bit of a walk to the beach. Noisy street"
Inn at Wecoma
"The room was very clean and visually appealing. We stayed on the 3rd floor and we could see the ocean from the room/balcony which was very nice. The staff was also very helpful and kind. The amenities were also great and my partner and I loved the adult hours for the pool, very relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here!"
The Ashley Inn & Suites
"Too expensive for what it was but it worked."
