A few small local stores, a very cute pharmacy with an old fashioned soda bar serving sodas, shakes and sandwiches, an historical park called Renaissance Village well worth the visit and a real functioning deco theatre showing current films.

A great stop off on our trip to Colorado! The town has definitely seen better days (the 20's and 50's) but a lot of history and everyone was very friendly. The surroundings of the beautiful mountains is exquisite!

I've been to Ely several times and enjoyed every trip. This trip, I had the time to take the self-guided tour of the Northern Nevada Railroad workings. What a unique experience.

Quaint "old west" town. Enjoyed an authentic steam train ride from the restored Depot! Very friendly and interesting town.

The area has a lit to offer if you do some exploring. There's a Railroad museum which does train rides on the weekends. There are OHV and hiking trails around. There are a couple of lakes and other outdoor activities. The mountains are spectacular.

Very small town, but everywhere is walkable and you get the small old town vibes, which is a nice change from bigger cities sometimes.

Parts of town , especially downtown are older . There are more modern areas with McDonald's and large grocery store .
"Was not expecting as clean and nice a place as this in such a small town. As I make this trip fairly often, you are now on my list to return to. I will be back. Thank you!"
"Nicely renovated older motel. The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast and coffee offerings opened at 7 a.m., a little too late for my liking, so I missed it. I suggest a small charging station/clock on one of the nightstands for convenience. Overall, it was a great night's stay, and the price was great!"
