"We stayed in the one bedroom suite, which had a pull out bed, fireplace, full kitchen and one bathroom. It was a corner room in bldg 2 and you could not see the ocean, but it did not matter. You were steps from the ocean and a 15 minute walk to the famous Haystack. Coffee and tea were provided in the lobby 24/7. It is also right across the street from a grocery store, so we were able to make our own breakfast. Great location and accommodations."

"Cute sort of hipster hotel in a great location in Astoria. I had one of the “cabin” rooms, meaning no private bathroom, but the facilities were just steps away and never occupied. No breakfast provided, but there was coffee in the morning (yay!). All was quiet. I found free parking on the street a block away. I liked Norblad and would stay here again."

"Appreciate the quick follow up that I had prior to check in from the manager on a question I had with my booking along with the follow through from the manager. Check in was quick and exactly as anticipated after my pre check in conversation with the manager. Hotel is very quiet and room has a beautiful view of the river. It’s at the other end of Astoria, so quieter, but still easy to access the busy end with the pathway that runs along the river. Also enjoy all the stuff just outside the back door at pier 39. Really like this spot."

"I can’t say enough good things about The Herondale Hotel! We were greeted with signature mocktails at check-in, and our room was beautiful and immaculately clean. The amenities and the view from our room were just the cherry on top. Highly recommend! They’re also dog-friendly! 🐾"
