Our first visit to Astoria. Found the city to be charming. Happened to be there for Art Walk and the galleries were lively. Lots of people out enjoying the bars and restaurants. Did quite a bit of hiking in the area and they were all great hikes.

During our 3 day stay, we checked out the Goonie house, the film museum, the maritime museum and the column! Astoria is such a beautiful town! We loved getting breakfast at Pig N Pancake! MO's is a wonderful spot to hit up for clam chowder!

Fun to get off the main streets and see the wonderful architecture of the old buildings and houses. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Close to Lewis and Clark National Park and Washington. Easy drive to Cannon Beach.

Astoria was surprisingly delightful. The river walk was nice, and I even walked all the way up to the Column with my dog. Antique stores and a couple of the restaurants we tried were fun. While there, people were about but it did not feel crowded.
