It's a great location, very walkable distance to-from main attractions like riverwalk outlets, the aquarium, cesars casino and canal street. Across the street from WWII museum. The only thing you need to be aware of (I wasn't) is that they don't have free parking for guests, it's $45 per day It's a nice hotel."

"Staff are pretty friendly. Rooms are old style and elegant, really nice. Walkable to bourbon street. But if u gonna be drunk, that 15 mins walk can be too long. A little far from Frenchman but hotel is in CBD area. But quiet and close to many good restaurants. "

We were with a group and each unit was very different with some better than others, but all had the essentials that we needed. "We always stay at The St. James hotel when we are in New Orleans. We can walk to the quarter but the St. James is in a quiet area. Breakfast at the Ruby Slipper was excellent nearby."
