I'm glad I visited the Highlands Hammock State Park. I was able to see some very interesting landscapes and animals in a short time. I also tried gator meat for the first time at the Gator Shack. The restaurant staff were fun and the food was great

We stayed because our new adopted dog. She's doing heartworm treatment at Highlands Humane Society, wonderful place. We live in Melbourne Still nice little place Sebring is, there's a neat prk around also! It's Old Florida.

I'm from Miami. So it did not have all that Miami has but a good quiet getaway. It was good.
"We loved the hotel. Had a great balcony and coffee bar.
Another great thing was the private bar and had free amazing appetizers and we ordered drinks.
Food was good at the Irish Pub below the hotel.
HGTV was there recently and the downtown circle looked great
