Bendigo, like most of regional Victoria, is suffering from the decline of tourism. It does have a lot of history and well kept central parks.

Bendigo is a lovely town and has a lot to offer. Wish we had of stayed a bit longer.
"Staff were all efficient and friendly , nothing was any trouble. The restaurant serves delicious food, with fresh produce and has an imaginative menu.
I would certainly recommend the motel ,location is a little way out of city centre , but only a short Uber trip away . The lake across the road is perfect for that morning stroll, playground for the children , and you can get a good coffee, and donut from the food carts.

"Easily able to walk into city to visit attractions. Plenty of close-by eateries. Rooms clean and well serviced with excellent sound insulation. Sufficient parking. Recommend. "
