"Likely the most pitiful continental breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel. I go down there and not only was the selection limited but almost everything was already gone. I was there like an hour before it ended. I just went back to my room and made my own breakfast. Room definitely had wear and the Elevators were both like half a year past inspection dates. My key card stopped working the one time i went out also. Area is pretty eog water. I tried going to both the Zoo and the Jazz Hall of Fame and both were closed. "

"It is so hard to write a review about this hotel. It is so convenient to the Birmingham Shuttlesworth airport. The staff are 100% amazing and wonderful. The Deep South breakfast buffet is cooked by a kitchen genius (I wish I knew the gentleman’s name. He is a wizard!). All of these positive human attributes are taking place in a property that is increasingly decrepit, dirty, smelly, and uncomfortable. To the owners : IT IS TIME TO RENOVATE ! PLEASE!!"

"The bed was really comfortable and the room was adequate. The neighbors were relatively quiet and kept to themselves. My only concern was the bathroom shower and sink didn’t not drain well. But I will consider staying here again in the future because the parking lot is well-lit and I feel completely safe even at night."

"Staff was phenomenal! The rooms were clean and stocked. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Beautiful area!!! Close to restaurants. "
