"We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Dorada Palace and had a brilliant holiday. We arrived on the 1st day of opening and were unsure what to expect but didnt need to worry. Only half the hotel was open as the other half is still being renovated but all the facilities were open. Pool area is clean and a good size, plenty of sun loungers.
We were on B&B and enjoyed the breakfast...the choice increased as the hotel got busier. We only ate lunch from the pool bar once during our stay...

"Reasonably priced, nice pools, but quite basic and not 4 star in my opinion. Basic rooms that are tired with smelly and basic bathrooms.
Sunloungets by the pool are old plastic loungers and uncomfortable. Strange rules like you cannot wear sunglasses in the pool unless you have bands around your head to keep them in place. Never experienced this anywhere in the world. Lifeguards enforce this rule, I guess for safety, yet you allow guests to have glassware at the side of the pool? People drinking...
