Usually we drive by GJ on the way to Moab. But this time we stayed 2 nights and planned for next, longer stay in GJ to ride trails. We took Amtrak to GJ so didn't have transportation this trip. Still there was plenty to do. Loved the Museum of West.

Gotta hit Colorado National Monument, it's a 15-20 minute drive from the hotel but it is everything! Also Robin's Nest on Main Street might be my favorite antique store EVER. Main Street of GJ is thriving and lovely

Grand Junction was a great weekend getaway. UNBELIEVABLE food at Jojo's Dinette, Bin 707, and Taco Party. Would go back just for the food! Amazing!

We liked going to the Colorado National Monument and hiking the Devil's Kitchen trail (not hard, good for kids, and fun rock formations to climb in).

"The hotel is very comfortable with in-room amenities and a very nice inner courtyard with pool tables and areas to sit and relax or visit. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. "
"The hotel adjoins the Mesa University campus. It has an excellent restaurant (Devil's Kitchen) with beautiful views. And it offers easy access to the campus walkways and facilities."
"Check in was quick, but there was only one towel in the room and nothing else (no shampoo/tissues). Internet and cable did not work at all the entire evening. Hotel is outdated and not super clean. Comfortable bed and AC worked great. "
