area is very nice eventhough one of the jacuzzi's was not working. The beach is probably one of the cleanest and more beautiful beaches I have ever visited.
Unfortunately the food was mediocre. It was tasteless and not much of a variety. I expected more for the price.

"We stayed in early March for 6 days and loved every day. Frankly, everything was great. We didn't get to try the spa or excursions because we had a 15mo old baby with us, which takes a lot of time, but just the pools and the beach were wonderful. The food was amazing. Each restaurant had fantastic food. Even the breakfast buffet was phenomenal.
For drawbacks, getting to the property is a major drag. It's a 3hr ride by car from Santo Domingo. Not much they can do about that, I guess.

"We rented a Casita with Jacuzzi in rooftop. I had been here about 9 years ago, and you can tell the maintenance has been 0 since then. Broken fridge, stove, oven, dish washer, hot tub, broken glass in balcony (serious danger for toddler), kitchen leaking gas... its a long list, just beware to keep your expectations close to reality. Also, the food needs an urgent revision- we continuously ranked food a 2/5. I am sure they can fix this, however, it was not a good experience, and speaking to other...

The location is perfect, with great restaurants within walking distance and the beach literally just steps away. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast each morning was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and would definitely come back!"
