We found a cute playground that was sponsored by local businesses in the area. Our grandchildren really enjoyed it. We spent a little time exploring the town, & found it to be very pleasant. We were very happy with our choice to stop in Cookeville.

Go see Cody at Tennessee Legends Distillery. Best experience we had in Tennessee. City Lake Natural Area has a nice little walk to a small waterfall.

"After after having had a hard day of driving it was such a blessing to come to a place I didn’t realize it was the same place I’ve been before it has a wonderful Mexican restaurant by it but I had one of the closest rooms that had been redone and the bed was amazing And I literally crashed and I wish they opened earlier and had coffee going but it was overall well worth it and more than worth it "
