Good
Visit Cedar Point but make sure you go into the downtown area on the shores of Lake Erie and patronize the many restaurants and businesses. The area definitely feels depressed and too quiet for being so close to a major amusement park.

Wonderful town. So much to see. Great wildlife preserves, parks and natural areas besides the amusement venues. Beautiful views along Lake Erie. Many restaurant choices with a nice number of independents.

The town is very quaint and has a lot of fun things to see. We also took a little break while we were at Cedar Point Amusement Park and went swimming at Cedar Point Beach.

Sandusky is working hard to revitalize and it shows, especially down by the water. And as always, we LOVE Cedar Point.

Cool town with a lot of shopping and dining options...however, many dining options closed early! Yeah, so many places close at 8pm or 9pm. If you are going to go to the park all day until close, you have limited dining options in the area

Wonderful town just a short drive from the motel, so many dining options, definitely worth the visit. Right outside was motel was an area along the lakefront, including a long fishing pier. Great place to stretch your legs and take a walk.

Went to the farmers market Saturday morning and there were a ton of vendors with fresh baked items. All of them were very good.
"My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay. Our experience with staff was fantastic and hoped to visit the area again because of the positive experiences we had here. "
"The team at Explorer were great to work with. They were super accommodating. We had booked a 3 day stay but the. We realized we needed an extra day. They gave us a late checknout on our first room And then an early check in on our new room. The suite we stayed in was spacious amd clean. The beds were comfortable and the room had a great temp. The linens were clean as well as the towel, which there were plenty. The kichenette worked for our needs.
The Explorer is super close to Cedar Point was super close and easy to get to. Only about 10 mins to downtown Sandusky which had some great options for food. "
