"Hotel Canadá Central is an awesome starting point for any sightseeing adventure—just two blocks from the Zócalo, so you can roll out of bed and straight into the heart of the city. Alicia, the housekeeper, did an excellent job tidying up my room every day—I always returned to fresh, laundered towels and a spotless space. "It's by what they call the Zocalo, where the Presidential palace is and Aztec ruins. The architecture is amazing. Old Spain. You can take a day trip to see the Aztec Pyramids and how they make Mezcal, and the Museum of Anthropology. Very centrally located and a great restaurant on the top floor."

"This place was perfect for our family of 5. With a greater selection of breaky options and softer beds it’d be a solid 5/5. I’d read reviews on the location but we felt perfectly safe the entire time. Yes there’s prostitutes in the surrounds and homeless people sadly living on the streets, but they’re perfectly harmless. We loved the area and how accessible it was to transport, historic centre, Polanco etc. We will definitely return. "

"Staff was great. Location to El Zocalo was perfect. Room was very clean. It could be a little noisy when your staying on the first floor but other than that, I really enjoyed my stay, and I can’t forget they have some really good taco stands in the corner. "
