"This is probably the cleanest, most beautiful hotel for the money we’ve ever stayed in. The nightly rate was comparable to the other hotel rooms in town, but here you get a huge spacious apartment! All new, chic, and very comfortable. Easy to walk to Wharf St. and the dining and shopping area too! The manager was very responsive, friendly and accommodating as well! This place is a gem!"

"This is an absolutely fabulous gem of a hotel. We were only there one night, but everything was superb. The room was lovely with a beautiful view (a bay view room). The shower was a highlight. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best amenity was the town car available to shuttle us around downtown. Looking forward to staying longer next time!"

"A lovely and friendly hotel in the heart of Portland downtown. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Watch out for Google maps, though. It shows the entrance on Market and Fore, whereas it really is on Milk St. The Armory Lounge is a lovely spot for a drink and has some good cocktails."

"Had an amazing 40th birthday celebration here . Everything was amazing from start to finish ! The courtyard King was well worth it and we loved opening up the door for an evening breeze . Central to dinner and shopping . Walked to dinner reservations + the ferry terminal to ferry over to Peaks Island . NOTABLE - AM room service ( yum!), pantry on every floor for self service coffee , yogurt / granola , snacks , tea , morning pastries . Was nice to pop in and out of the hotel in the morning to...

"We had a really lovely stay at The Francis. The building itself is beautiful and has so much character, but still feels really comfortable and updated. Our room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully done. The staff was genuinely kind and helpful without being over the top. It’s in a great spot, easy to get everywhere but still quiet at night. I’d definitely come back."

"Location. We went to comedy show at State Theatre and was a 4 min. Walk. View from room was amazing for sunset, and the Breakfast was delicious!!"

"Great hotel for a Seadogs game. The parking is safe and very accessible to the hotel rooms. The breakfast is great. The ice machine on floors 2 and 3 were not working but floors 1 and 4 were. Clean room with microwave and plenty of towels. Plenty of luggage trolleys. You can check in and out online. We booked again we liked it so much."
