"The desk staff were friendly and check-in/out was easy. The room was spotless and the attendant Jeanine K very personable and helpful. The breakfast offerings were fresh, hot, and the staff courteous and refilled stations quickly. The bar is under renovations, but we found places that were walking distance. Highly recommend this facility to anyone traveling to Portland. A lovely few days of R&R."

"This is probably the cleanest, most beautiful hotel for the money we’ve ever stayed in. The nightly rate was comparable to the other hotel rooms in town, but here you get a huge spacious apartment! All new, chic, and very comfortable. Easy to walk to Wharf St. and the dining and shopping area too! The manager was very responsive, friendly and accommodating as well! This place is a gem!"

"This is an absolutely fabulous gem of a hotel. We were only there one night, but everything was superb. The room was lovely with a beautiful view (a bay view room). The shower was a highlight. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best amenity was the town car available to shuttle us around downtown. Looking forward to staying longer next time!"

"We had a really lovely stay at The Francis. The building itself is beautiful and has so much character, but still feels really comfortable and updated. Our room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully done. The staff was genuinely kind and helpful without being over the top. It’s in a great spot, easy to get everywhere but still quiet at night. "Great hotel for a Seadogs game. The parking is safe and very accessible to the hotel rooms. The breakfast is great. The ice machine on floors 2 and 3 were not working but floors 1 and 4 were. Clean room with microwave and plenty of towels. Plenty of luggage trolleys. You can check in and out online. We booked again we liked it so much."
