"This is an older motel. It seems to me that they are remodeling it. Our room just had the basics, which is not a complaint. It totally served its purpose-we hiked all day, ate dinner, and just slept there. Beds were comfy. Towels and linens were clean. Room was clean. No complaints. Just know you are getting an older, no frills, but fully functioning, hotel. Location was within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. Didn't actually see any staff during our visit. "

"This place is incredible! If you are traveling with children, this is a must stay. Everything is catered to families and it makes it a wonderful stop. Escalante has great hikes — don’t miss Lower Calf Creek and the Petrified Forest — and a great rock shop. The bathrooms at Ofland were lovely, spa-like; the rooms extremely comfortable (except for the hard pillows); free coffee and snacks in the morning was very appreciated; and the food truck was off the chain delicious."

"Escalante Yurts exceeded our expectations! What an amazing place to stay. The yurt was adorable and had all the comforts of an upscale hotel in a unique setting. We ate dinner in ( a delicious pizza and salad from the outfitters in town) and stargazed when the sun went down. Absolutely an incredible experience!"
