I stayed in the Wee Room with a single bed. Perfect for what I was needing. I used the sauna facilities which were great, and got a great sleep."

"Room was good and Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was of a good standard (Eggs Royale) and coffee was good. Reasonably priced too as we hadn't planned to eat there. Special mention to the night staff when we checked in after 11pm on the wrong day but managed to squeeze us in anyway. It's that sort of service that can be sorely lacking in some of the Chain hotels. Top Marks"

"We had a family room. Easy to pull up and park right outside the room. Beds very comfortable and view wonderful. It was a short 10 min drive to the station and a 20 min. train ride to the heart of Edinburgh. Definitely would stay again....so easy! Close to some great sites with Blackness Castle and Linithgow Palace too. "

"Really friendly staff and the bar is a great social space. Room was more than big enough, nice and clean and warm. (I travel a lot with work and know the importance of a good shower, and the shower was definitely good!) Location is fantastic being in the old town and just down the road from the castle. "The location on Stirling University campus is perfect. Such a beautiful campus. Running up Dumyat and take in the views over the Forth Valley is a treat."
