"Very much enjoyed the dinner, absolutely delicious, as well as our breakfast. Our waitress even gave us suggestions for places to visit off the beaten path. We went to The Devil’s Pulpit and Lennox Castle - both unusual and happy for the recommendation. This has been one of our favorite places to stay on our 2 week Scotland trip. "

"Great welcome by Alison , super room with a view to die for ! Lounge area by the log burner was perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Evening dining was available which was fabulous and very high quality. Breakfast was also excellent made all the more special looking out to the view of the Loch . "We had a lovely stay here while hiking along the West Highland Way. The rooms were nicely furnished and in cottages right on the Loch. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and we had a great meal in the restaurant."

"The Tarbet hotel was our favorite stay of our 9 day trip to Scotland. The historic building on the shores of loch Lomond was peaceful and serene. The staff was great and even upgraded our room for free which was a real treat. The restaurant and drinks were good as well. The real show stopper is the view of the loch and the location. "

"A great country inn. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest. "

"Room was clean and comfortable, though with two beds and the sofa bed expanded, it was crowded. Kitchen facilities were extensive and fully stocked. Plenty of easy parking. Nice location, within walking distance of main street of Callander."
