"It is a lovely old fashioned place, the very kind that my father liked to stay in 70 or more years ago! Very comfortable and welcoming. Very enjoyable, but the slow hot water in the morning was not the best !"

"The hostel is located near the market, which makes the area feel unsafe at night. The staff and volunteers were inattentive. The rooms are very dark and overcrowded with too many beds, leaving little space to move around or store luggage. There is only a small window, which doesn’t provide enough natural light or ventilation. Although there are a few seating areas, they feel cramped and are furnished with unattractive furniture. I do not recommend this hostel."

"Very nice and quiet area. Close to major tourist attractions around La Serena. I do like the fact that there’s a Moai right when you get to the hotel. I’m Rapa Nui, so I felt like I was supposed to be there. It was a surprise to me. Thank you for the service. I would definitely consider of going back next time I visit La Serena. "

"Hotel casona antigua 3 estrellas tranquilo, con todo lo necesario para estar cerca de La Recova, pude tomar un té en la noche o tambien una infusión de Yerba Buena del patio, calientita para una noche de Abril en La Serena. Personal muy atento y amable, en especial Marcela y Ruth, muchas gracias. A unas cuadras está para comer los mejores completos en el Oriente, está tambien el estadio cerca, y si vas para abajo hacia el mar está la Plaza de Armas.
