"The Freehand is my go to place every time I'm in Chicago. It is a bohemian treasure and attracts interesting tourists, many from Europe. Good location, just by Eataly in the River North area, and I always have no trouble finding nearby parking on SpotHero. I've stayed here a few times now, and it feels like my 2nd home in Chicago. Challenging to charge electronics in your room. That needs a significant upgrade. Breakfast is OK and much appreciated given food costs in Chicago."
