"Serious “Under the Tuscan Sun” vibe here. Couldn’t imagine a retire place. Private thermal river, and a 10 minute walk to a fun bar and the free thermal pools. The evening appetivi was lovely, and the breakfast was plentiful. Service was sweet. Room and bathroom were huge. Do not miss this spot. And, if you buy the house next door, you better invite me to come stay!"

Easily drove to the Etruscan ruins near Soriano over the mountains, about an hour and to the ancient hot baths to bathe in near Saturnia. Great breakfast buffet made by the proprietor’s mother. It is also a winery and had some bottles of their terrific wines. "
