What a wonderful little town! There is so much history that happened here; lots of old pioneer homes! The tree-lined main street is clean and it would have been great to have had time to do a bit of shopping around.

Torrey is a small town near Capitol Reef National Park. It's very convenient to the park and all it has to offer but don't expect a lot of fancy options.

Torrey is the only town near Capitol Reef, but it's also a sweet, homey little place that I can see myself visiting again and again.

Local restaurants are excellent and cater very well to the tourists. I believe most are in town to visit Capitol Reef Nat'l Park. Very friendly vibe from all of the merchants. We ate at Chak Balam, Capitol Burger Food Truck and the Wild Rabbit.

Small town, not much to do and not too many places to do any shopping. There is a state liquor store which was great, we bought some wines. Not too many restaurants around

Chuckwagon Bakery was really good in downtown Torrey. They have a variety of homemade baked goods, breakfast options, and deli. The Rock Reef Cafe had amazing pizza.

Suler cute little town. There's limited dining options, but everything we had was yummy. A lot of places close for lunch. The landscape around you is amazing.

Be warned. If you stay in Torrey in the winter, not much is open. It is close to Capitol Reef NP, which is why I was there.
"The staff is amazing, the room was very clean, spacious, and well maintained. It’s the best place in Torrey to stay if you are going to Capitol Reef National Park, and it’s very close to the Visitor Center"
"Covered wagons for the win! There is nothing like sitting around a camp fire watching shooting stars, and staying in a covered wagon that is climate controlled. "
"The staff at the front desk Jerome I think was his name was very friendly and nice. He greeted me with a smile when I checked in.
The pool area was nice. Just wish the outside smoking area was a bit farther away from the open garage door area. The smoke smell worked it's way into the pool area. "
