"This is a lovely and comfortable place. The hotels.com description is inaccurate. The microwave, coffee and dishes are communal, in the lobby. No coffee grinder or stove tops. Some rooms do have kitchenettes, but not the double bed rooms or the standard queen ocean view room that we had. However our room was very nice, with good bathroom amenities with extras like cosmetic pads, swabs, makeup remover cloths. Good bed amd nice table and chairs. Not exactly what we expected, but very good. Recommended. We would stay there again."
"Great area to stay in the downtown and right there at the boat terminal. Had the best room with a view of the water and sunset.
Service was great. Stairs not so great lugging up suitcases. Only downfall. "
"We liked the cleanliness, old antiqes and lay out. Very nice employees. I think the staff is pleasant and helpful. I think when people are booking they should ask if there is any elderly in there party because the rooms have many stairs to climb and no elevator. This is fair because I had a hard time getting to our room and my granddaughter had to make three trips with our belongings. Thats my only oncern for others. Otherwise it is an excellent place."
"The cabins are well maintained and clean, stocked with all you need. The property is well kept. Across the street is a beach on the ocean and a long view to spectacular mountains. We’re sitting in the living room, as it’s cool on the porch tonight, watching a ferry all lit up go by. Beautiful! "
"The town of Lund is very small with few shops and restaurant options. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat with great views, staying in the Lund Hotel is a nice option. Pollen Sweaters and Nancy’s Bakery are a short walk away. For boaters getting work done at Jack’s Boatyard it’s less than a mile away and a pleasant walk.
The hotel is in an older building and the rooms were recently renovated. Ours was spacious, nice bathroom and comfy bed and linens. Laurel is an amazing host who never stops making your stay a special and comfortable experience.
We enjoyed the onsite pub which served great food and drinks.
Being located in the harbor also makes for interesting “entertainment” and amazing sunsets. We plan on making the Lund Hotel an annual fall destination. "
