"I took this trip, by myself as a chance to disconnect & from start to finish it was everything I had hoped for! My room, Level 2, with a bath on the balcony and a lounge chair to read on was superb but walking into to see a balcony with palm trees, overlooking the pool resulted in me crying with happiness! I haven’t had a break for a very long time & suffer from chronic pain so the small gestures went such a long way! Asking for extra blankets or a flat pillow were easily accommodated, as was a bug zapper as mosquitos love me. The staff were so polite & even asking for Coke Zero in my mini bar or extra face washers was no issue at all. I don’t eat much so to discover I could order just hot chips for approx $5aud to my room was a delight. The other guests (mostly Aussie and Indian) are nice & I made some wonderful new friends. My biggest tips are grab a beach towel before breakfast & put it on deck chair and leave a note saying reserved. The staff will hold it for approx an hour for you. If you need something, just ask! I found paying my way was better as I didn’t have to think about a bill at the end. The staff are incredibly accommodating & nothing is too hard. I highly recommend this hotel & the ice cream and pancakes for breakfast were pretty darn great! It’s approx $50aud return to and from the airport but it’s safe and Ketut contacted me on WhatsApp before I landed to ensure we had a plan, which I loved particularly as I was alone. "Very luxurious beautiful hotel in Sanur. Walk 5 minute ro meeting point and take snorkeling boat to Nusa Penida. Lots of outside restaurants and shops on the streets."
