This community is a hidden gem, one of the coolest neighborhoods in the entire country. Fearful of it getting overrun with gentrification, there's a great community of people there.

The old buildings and architecture are quite charming. We are partial to The Cock and Bull restaurant and bar. Cute little shops and so close to Cincinnati.

Had brunch at the pike street diner near the pickle factory. And had the goetta, a Cincinnati classic and a must try.

Covington is basically across the river from downtown Cincinnati. Great location close to the great American Ball park where the Reds play also cool little bar scene in Covington.

Loved how quiet it was. I do wish there was a connection to the public transportation across the bridge. We found that the Orange Cab service was cheaper than Uber to go across the river. Once you're across the river the light rail can get you there.

If you have small children, the Newport Aquarium is absolutely wonderful and there are plenty of food options on the Levee.

This side of Covington is a dump 3 blocks to the east is nice do yourself a favor and book elsewhere! We ended up in Florence Kentucky 20 miles away at the airport . Was not ideal since we was at a concert at Paycor Stadium but at least we were safe
"Second time at the Pickle Factory one year apart. Excellent hotel and stayed in the themed Cigars & Bourbon room again. Location is great as you’re close to downtown Cincinnati but not in the middle of chaos. It is an Airbnb setup so check-in time is 4PM and the earliest you can enter is 3:30PM. Before that, parking was not available. Overall an excellent, room, hotel, and location. "
"I forgot to get the invoice and called them in few hours to email it. I was transferred to another centre where it was so difficult speak with a rep. Don’t understand why this was a difficult task for the rep I spoke with at the hotel. It literally took 20 minutes on the phone back and forth. "
