"Lovely b&b. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless with a very comfy bed and pristine linen. Fresh milk and cold water in a fridge in the bedroom with a well stocked drinks tray refreshed daily. Breakfast was fresh and beautifully cooked with a good choice of cereal and fruit on offer, great coffee. Both Julia and Iain were knowledgeable about the area and happy to recommend activities places of interest and best places to eat. We would happily recommend a visit. "

"We had a text a couple of days before and were able to ask a couple of questions. We were welcomed by Vernon on arrival and shown around the hotel. Vernon was keen to show the girls the dancing and they had a long session the next morning. Breakfast was cereal and we had coffee and tea. The guest house is very clean and tidy and welcoming. Very relaxed atmosphere. We were able to park in site for the afternoon while we explored the area. The girls can’t wait to come again and dance and...

"My single sea facing room was ready before the due time and was found to be very clean and well stocked with complimentary tea, coffee, milk, etc. The room was cleaned every day. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and my stay very welcome. A full English breakfast gave me a great start to the day. I recommend the Esplande Hotel in Paignton"

"We absolutely loved staying at The Barbican Hotel. It’s in a great location, near the beach and town. We were greeted so kindly and looked after so well. Our room was fresh and bright, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wonderful! Well cooked and presented! I can honestly say, we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house! "It was okay ..attention to detail not great but basically everything was ok including the breakfast which wasn’t replenished very often and the coffee out of the machine was terrible … and nothing available to eat after 5pm and no spa experience either..which is still advertised"
