"This is a unique little inn in the middle of the country. It was a fun stay, even though we only stayed overnight as we were traveling from Scotland highlands to London. The beds were fine, not spectacular. The bathrooms were clean and the shower pressure was amazing! The only thing I have to complain about is that the staff opened the windows and even though we shut them right away, I was still bitten up by midgies all night."

"Good location a short distance from the motorway. Plenty of parking and a fuel station near junction to motorway. Staff are helpful and friendly. On line booking for restaurant was honoured. Nice rooms modern and well maintained with good size bathroom. Tea/coffee biscuits etc. Nice bar and a very busy restaurant. Menu was excellent and food good quality. "I booked my stay at this hotel through Expedia. When I checked in I was told that I hadn’t prepaid through Expedia. Because I was tired after a long day, I paid as requested by the hotel . Through Expedia I requested this double payment to be returned. Over a week later I’m still waiting."

Some cottages residential but very friendly especially John..Also has smart TV and excellent wifi ..4 of us on anniversary weekend.Fully recommended.."
