We love the Karalis city hotel. The views of the bay, Pylos and sunsets were AMAZING! We loved the balconies. The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsite breakfast buffet was extensive. We stayed in two rooms and the more expensive room was the most modernized and had the most comfortable mattresses but the lower/mid price room was very good and modernized although we found these mattresses to be a bit firm.but it had a great couch- designed to be a perfect third bed. Amazing property. Peaceful and beautiful. The pool and pool area were very relaxing and have a good view of the sunset. The villas are oriented so each one is private. Living rooms don’t have AC but have good airflow. The breakfast is delicious with generous portions. The property is safe and secure and the owners are easy to find and contact. If you want a specific room then maybe contact them directly because I wasn’t sure which pictures went with which room/villa.
The only problem was with the Hotels.com web site listing the room with breakfast and you had to choose the higher rate room to get breakfast, eventhough both rates said with breakfast. They honored the rate anyway.

Driving through the town we were skepticle about what to find at the Kleopatra Hotel. Even the sign for the hotel is older and could use a facelift.
Inside everything was new renovations, clean and the friendliest multi lingual person at the desk. Demitri did a great job getting us settled and recommended the local taverna for dinner which was delicious. They had the best Greek Salad that we had during our 10 days.
