"There are not enough lifts to service stayers. Breakfast is ok but you will bored if you have it more than once. The best part about this hotel is being connected to sunshine city. The hotel has a conbini and the limousine bus to airport stops at this hotel. It takes about 10-15 mins to walk to ikebukuko station."

"The Hotel Bellclassic foyer looks very classy, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Checking in went smoothly. The hotel is located within walking distance of Otsuka station where you can catch the Yamanote line, making it very convenient for getting around. The room was surprisingly spacious. However the room did feel a little dated and it showed with various stains in the carpet and curtains. It was also a little dusty in certain places. Overall our stay was good but I think the room...

"A good place to stay for short term. The location was good and quiet in Ikebukuro. The room was big and clean with big bathroom. However, the fire alarm went off a few times in the night and there's only 2 hangers. Overall good for short term stays only."

"The room was clean and very well equipped. This is not a hotel per se. More of an air b&b type room. Our only issue was the location. The neighborhood was safe & nice but not the area displayed on the map. We were about a 30 minute walk from where we expected to be staying."

"It was a great place to stay. Across the street from a temple and large cemetery. Sweet residential neighborhood but close to lots of restaurants and a major shopping street. Easy walk to the train station. But we took a cab in and out with our luggage. So nice to have more space than a 120 sq ft hotel room for a similar price. The host was very responsive to questions."

"Ramen supper , ice cream after onsen, breakfast spread is sufficient. Kind of far from nearest subway station. Lots of shopping and big branded of Japanese labels you can get st Ikebukuro/ Sunshine city is great. Recommend stay here"

"Hotel is only a couple minutes walking distance away from C6 exit for the Ikebukuro rail / subway station and Tobu department store. Seibu, Parco and Bic Camera are on the other side (east) of the Ikebukuro station. One Family Mart and a 7-11 are nearby for anyone needing a quick bite - sandwiches, soft-boiled eggs and ice cream. Rooms are reasonably spacious and clean. Limited housekeeping means staffs only enter room to empty trash and replace towels if guest posts sign on the door before...

"Perfectly located for exploring the city and sights. Generally clean and tidy with plenty of space. Very comfortable beds and well payed out. Sofa needs replacing as very uncomfortable, under the beds could do with a clean. Located next to a railway line which trains run very frequently, above a Karaoke bar which does go on until 03:00. But you do get used to it. "

Otsuka, where the hotel is, is only 20mins by train to Shibuya - and a 2mins walk to Otsuka station (on the Yamamote Line). It’s well worth being slightly further away to get a more sensibly priced hotel. "
