"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."

"Small but compact rooms with AC, refrigerator, tv & mattress on the floor. Shared toilets and showers were clean. Free cold/hot water & tea. Also there is microwave oven to heat up your food if needed. Location quiet and walking distance from Minami-Senju ( H ) station. Shops, small bars and restaurants near by."

"I would not recommend this property. The positives were the place was clean and modern and in a quiet location but still handy to shops dining and tourist attractions. However we received no communication from host on how check in details. There is no reception and we required lock box information for keys. We arrived in the evening with no way to enter our room and luckily after 20 minutes of waiting around a staff member appeared and was able to help us out. We had 3 people staying but only 2...

"Good sized studio with everything you would need for a long stay: full kitchen, laundry with drying feature in bathroom. No smart TV though, which seems to be the norm in Japan's hotels, and is kind of surprising being so technologically advanced."

"All one room (minus laundry and bathrooms) but very comfortable and cool in the Tokyo heat. The balcony isn’t accessible but the windows open for a view if you want it. The train station is a short walk and there’s a konbini just down the road in either direction. We rarely used the bus system but there is a stop right in front of the building. All around great location for a stay in Tokyo!"

"The space is large for the cost. Bathroom facilities are very good. Overall location is very convenient to getting around Tokyo. The clothes washer is a very large benefit. If we would visit again, we would seek a similar room on a lower floor."

"Very clean. It was spacious for us, family of 6 (without any big luggages). There are convenience stores & 1 bigger grocery store (that we know of), and bus stops within walking distance. No elevator, but it wasn't too bad to climb up to 5th floor. AC was great. 4 bunk beds (with soft mattress!) in the room. Each bed space has plug for charging phone and small light.. 1 toilet and shower/bath room + 1 toilet, washing machine (we didn't use it), hair dryer, and many more.... Provided pots &...

"This was our second stay there. Staff was nice and our room was clean. We like their welcome sweets and happy hour. Being close to the train station, the location was good for us. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby also. "
