We thought about booking near the Colosseum or Trevi Fountain but so glad we didn't, it was just way to busy in those areas. It was worth it to take a short Metro ride into those areas. "amazing experience on the beautiful via cola di rienzo, the perfect middle ground and basecamp for those visiting rome for the first time. walkable to all attractions, but no attractions so near so that tourists arent so common in this neighborhood Prati. Great local cuisine and amazing shopping all in this neighborhood. The room was great, simple clean, hot water was good, access to kitchen to rinse or store something in the fridge, really couldnt be a better place to stay in rome for the price...

"The front desk staff were friendly and answered all of our questions about how to get around the city. They had a nice breakfast . In the evening we enjoyed sipping wine on the rooftop terrace. The room was a little warm, but we are use to air conditioning in the US. The location was excellent to walk to Vatican City. It was a little bit of a hike to the Spanish Steps, Colosseum, etc. "
