"Arrived, expected to be provided room access, called number provided. They did not answer but messaged me to say all room bookings had been cancelled. They offered no reason and they had not notified me of cancellation. I advised I'd travelled a long way to London and their only suggestion was a Travelodge by the nearby Tube station. Unprofessional and highly risky, particularly for solo travellers who may be vulnerable to exploitation in those situations!"

"Very disappointing experience. There was no communication from the property before arrival despite five attempts to contact them. We arrived at 5:15pm, well after the 3pm check-in time, yet two people were still in the property washing up and cleaning. Had we arrived at 3pm, the property clearly would not have been ready. The cleanliness was unacceptable. Plates and pans needed washing before use, there were dirty cups in the dishwasher, mouldy cheese in the fridge and a freezer that appeared...

"A lovely little hotel directly opposite the tube station. It is about 40 minutes to central London on the tube. The room had air conditioning which was lovely during the summer heatwave. There was a selection of cafes nearby, I recommend the poison ivy cafe. The local sainsburys was handy also. Staff were friendly and the room was clean, however I did have a slight issue with the toilet continuously running"

"I only stayed at London Guest House by OYO Acton for a few hours overnight, so I didn't have much opportunity to use the facilities. It was a simple stay that suited my needs, and the location was particularly convenient, with easy access to Acton Main Line for travelling into Central London. For a short overnight stay, it did the job well."
