"Was just looking for a place to crash for four or five hours before getting up for an early fishing trip. Served its purpose. But the place is totally rundown."

"Was welcomed with join us for breakfast in the morning. Both mornings no breakfast, couldn’t use the pull and when we asked for extra towels because there are 5 of us and only 3 in the room they literally asked “how many people live with you?” Just odd, the room was clean and you can tell the hotel is updating on the inside. There is a reason the don’t show the outside. "

"It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. "

Especially after a long day out to Foxwood it the perfect to relax in there and soothe the body. My husband & I love the bondfire area as well. Great job guys!!! "
