"The entire staff was very courteous and accommodating. The hotel is part of downtown L.A. history. The bar area and my room had character. The half windows in the rooftop pool and restaurant allowed the most spectacular view of the city at night. I would definitely stay there again."

"Excellent location for exploring downtown LA by walking or public transportation. Just a block to Historic Broadway Metro station with the A and E trains. Close to Grand Central Marketplace and the Angels Flight cable car railway tram up to Grand Street from Hill St. Good restaurants nearby. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Rooms are clean but a bit spartan with minimum of furniture and storage. Was nice to have a mini fridge."

"This hotel was great. Valet parking was very easy and staff were very friendly. Check in was quick and the staff helped answer questions I had. One elevator was down while we were there but it did not cause any delays or inconvenience. The room was very clean and quiet. I’m not sure if we had neighbors but we never heard anyone above us or next door. We were going to a concert at The Novo across the street and this was a perfect hotel for that. Easy to walk to and from the concert venue and...

"I would definitely come back. It's a small-ish hotel in the heart of the LA Live district. The lobby is modest, but the second floor outdoor patio is great. It's a good size, overlooks Figuero at Olympic (roads), has comfortable seating, and a nice long fountain. The room was tidy, the towels were soft, and the bed and chairs were comfortable."

"Room was amazing. This hotel used to be apartments so the room is very spacious, with a great kitchenette and dining set up at on end. Spotless. Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Only downside is no onsite parking, but it’s downtown Los Angeles, so can’t be helped. Good parking garage nearby."
