"If you need to be downtown, this is a good place to stay. It is easy to get to and it's almost easier to go into downtown or come out of downtown than it is to drive around downtown. It's is also a good value. Only two types of hotels are actually downtown. They are either super expensive and nice or reasonable and dumps. You get something nice at a reasonable price here. Whenever we have a competition for cheerleading either in downtown or at Hy-Vee Arena, we stay here (so about twice a year)."
