"We enjoyed our stay at Opus XVI. The staff was very helpful. They booked us a restaurant reservation and held our luggage. It was extremely clean. The breakfast was quite good and had many choices. They set out umbrellas when rained. The location can’t be beat. It’s two minutes from the fish market, a grocery store is next door, and we could walk to other restaurants and even the train station within minutes."

"Charming hotel in a lovely neighborhood near to a park and the University. I found it convenient to many areas in town. It is about a 15 minute walk to the main center. It isclose to transportation and other interesting venues, like the concert hall. Breakfast was fresh, lovely and had plenty of choices. I would definitely stay there again. For some people because there is no elevator and being located on a hilly street may be a concern."

"The location is supreme for getting around the city. You are one block away from the harbor and no more than 15 minutes. Walk from any of the main attractions. Even the bus terminal where many of the excursions pick up from is a five minute walk. The accommodations are very clean and modern. I really did. Enjoy my stay here. Be prepared to purchase your own food, which can be helpful in saving money because Norway is quite expensive. There is a grocery store, not even five minutes walk from the...

"Rooms are adequate & ckean but of course smaller than in UK or US. Extra pillows would kelp. Breakfast excellent and staff Very friendly & helpful staff at front and kitchen - especially when considering they are operating under strike conditions. Breakfast excellent+ .....Bar knows how to make a great Norwegian Gin & Tonic! Only demerit... showers need a caddy for personal soaps etc and a light that could be dimmed or a night light!!"
