"Charmerende. Dejligt værelse med udsigt til poolen. Vær opmærksom på at nogen værelser har vinduer højt, så man ikke kan se ud (kælderen). Flere grupper af stole/borde udenfor, så man kunne sidde og hygge. Flinke værter. Morgenmad ok, men der manglede hele tiden noget (var der i 3 dage). I området var der gode afmærkede vandrerstier. Et stort supermarked. "

I would highly recommend a stay at this winery if you looking for excellent wine and a true experience with a Portuguese wine maker. "Beautiful place to stay. Phillip and his mom (and the whole staff) go out of their way to make you comfortable. We were in a room with the view of a lifetime! Homecooked meals for dinner, and the breakfast had fresh bread brought from the local bakery which was the best we had in Portugal. Pool was so refreshing, we were there during a heatwave. Air-conditioning in the room worked well. Bed was comfortable."

"The site is amazing, with the hotel's buildings scattered artfully across a number of terraces that traverse the steep hillside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and even had a lovely balcony facing the Douro. The big pool was gorgeous and a delight to swim in. Our only meals on site (two breakfasts and one dinner) were buffet-style--perfectly acceptable but nothing special."
