"The cottage is in a great location to access all parts of the island. Decor and furnishing are on the basic side, but this is more than reflected in the price. The garden has lovely views - a picnic table is provided but I suggest taking your own camping chairs for more comfy, longer term seating. The cottage is on a B road with some traffic at times but the noise was not intrusive, and was non-existent overnight. Literally a couple of minutes walk from the West Cowes ferry terminal, with a great choice of bars and restaurants on the doorstep.The apartment is at the rear of the property, so no street noise. If you intend to discover the island using public transport, the bus terminal is only a 5 minute walk away, situated next to the M&S food hall. Super friendly and helpful owner and manager.
