"We arrived early for our room and they made it ready in an hour. Meanwhile, they kept our luggage while we ate lunch. Lukan greeted us warmly and gave us good advice about what to see in Palermo. The room was clean, bright and large. We had a king-sized bed, a rarity in Europe. It was so comfortable. And the location was perfect: in the very center of the centro storico. When we walked out the door we were there."

The service at the front desk was excellent, when we informed them that we had an early start to go the airport the accommodated us with a breakfast box of light bites. "We loved our stay at Hotel Palazzo Achates. The location was within easy walking distance to the main restaurant and shopping area. There are a couple of great lively spots just around the corner from the hotel than we would stop for a drink. Our room was clean and looked newly renovated. We appreciated the patio for a little quiet time after our busy days. Communication with the staff was quick and helpful. We would stay here again,"
