"We loved the location of this site. It is so close to so many parts of manitiou Springs. We also really loved the staff. There was construction going on while we were there, but the staff worked really hard to help us work around that. The only complaint I would’ve had is that the HVAC system seem to turn on quite a bit during the night, and I was unable to turn it off. Otherwise, I would stay here again."

"This is a very unique stay. If your into history, stories, intelligent conversation and delightful filling breakfasts, then this your place. It is historical. Some cool things are listening to a Victorola at breakfast, talking with a local host, and looking at all the collected history on the walls. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. We had a park bench on the balcony right outside our door which allowed us time to take in the great view. The proprieter is very kind and thoughtful. This motel is within easy walking distance of several excellent restaurants, and just a short drive from Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Cliff Dwellings. Definitely a good choice if you are in the area."
