So when I am on Skiathos there is just one choice for me and that is René. The fantastic family who runs it, the tranquility of the place and the location, it's all just perfect. "

"Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) "

"Perfect quiet location. Very convenient to the bus station which I used to visit the various beautiful beaches. My room had a kitchenette area so I was able to get food from local store and keep in mini frigerator for my convenience. It’s easy breeze walking distance 5 minutes to get to Skiathos town center which is vibrant and where all the restaurants shops and bars/cafes are. The nearby New Port is nearby and lovely to walk by. I hope to return again in the future! "

"Great good value apartment with air conditioning and lovely views out to sea. Easy walking in to town and virtually next door to a bakery which was handy for fresh croissants in the morning! Also on the bus route so easy access to the south side of the island. I’d certainly book again."

"We stayed for one night prior to travelling over to another Island.We were met at the airport upon arrival and transported to the accommodation which was such a welcome bonus.On arrival the owners very kindly upgraded us to a better room with a lovely little balcony with a side sea view at no extra cost .Our room also had a small fridge.The Pension has a beautiful rooftop terrace were you can enjoy breakfast with fabulous views of the sea and Skiathos !!!! "Sistemazione pulita, ben attrezzata e localizzata centralmente. Il primo giorno per un problema tecnico è stato necessario ripristinare l’acqua calda assente per qualche ora. Colazione molto buona."
