"Twelve Senses is a true hidden gem. The attention to detail is amazing, from the complimentary Prosecco and home made cookies to the sustainable room elements and boutique design touches. The roof deck is lovely and fantastic breakfast is a wonderful addition to the stay. Best of all is the friendly owner Anke and her friend Meaghan who felt like long lost friends despite meeting them for the first time. All in all an awesome retreat to relax and recharge."

"This property works out great for us when we visit Del Mar. It offers easy access to the freeway and is a reasonable distance from Torrey Pines State Park and the Pacific Ocean beach. The generous full breakfast offered as part of the booking is a real plus. The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly and eager for your stay to be enjoyable. Parking in the underground garage costs extra, but is worthwhile as on-street parking is limited. "

"Great location right by the beach. My kids enjoyed watching the sea lions which was walking distance. Although we didn’t get to use the on-suite kitchen and dining room, it was definitely a great setup for families. We also enjoyed the free breakfast. We will definitely come back next time when traveling to SD area. "
