What really stood out was the warm, attentive, and informative staff who made everything so easy and welcoming. I also absolutely loved the pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out. "For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. The hotel is near the Central Market, Harbour Mall & the promenade plus local shops but don’t get...

"The London Hotel is pleasant with friendly staff, close to the centre of the town and its amenities. The shower was excellent and bed comfortable. The rooms were quiet so a good nigt's sleep is assured. It has no lift so if you have mobility problems be aware there are stairs to climb to the rooms."

"Just needed an inexpensive Room for one night. This hotel fit the bill but it is an older property in a tropical place. When I turned the ab on (which I was tja kick for) a rather large Cockroach came flying out of the vent. I take these things in stride but others may not."

He also mentioned, he told the reception that he will leaving early, and the receptionist overslept and took few minutes to woke them up. Terrible. "
