"This has to be my favorite hotel in Quito! The location is centered only a few blocks from La Plaza Grande and accessible to everything! The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable! The breakfast that comes with the rate was top notch for a continental breakfast! I was in a beautiful room with a balcony that looked out to the Cathedral and the surrounding streets. The hotel is safe and the staff will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. This will be my hotel of choice every time...

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Las Plazas. The hotel is very well located, just a short distance from the city center, the church, and other historic sites. Our room was cozy, and the breakfast was excellent. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to try a variety of local fruits from the region. "The hospitality was great even though the abuela that owns the place is only Spanish speaking. She prepared a good breakfast daily. The room was spacious. The location of the hotel is near the park with a metro station within it and there are 2 grocery stores across the park. "

"While I booked this hotel, it is currently under renovations. I wish Cesar would have let me know before as I arrived in the dark with my Uber driver telling me that this is not a safe area. Thanks to the drivers help we finally established that I was staying at Blue Door Housing instead. It’s a beautiful old building and Cesar is truly an amazing host. Didn’t have potable water the first night but after complaining, Cesar made sure I had some the following day. If a message was sent to me where...

"Excellent hotel. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I found it very clean, we did not use the gym but it looked very well equipped. We did enjoy the Hot tub, pool, cold plunge, and sauna. The best part as I knew rain was in the forecast, everything was on the roof and covered so you can still utilize everything. Restaurant was pretty good, I found adding the breakfast was worth it for convenience, good selection but it is buffet so i did not expect the best."
