"Lovely weekend stay! The room was lovely and although fairly small it had everything we needed for hanging up clothes and an ample supply of tea and coffee. The en-suite was also great with a good shower. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and checking in late on the Friday night was no issue. Hotel location was also very good, just a short walk to the centre of York. The parking at the hotel was also very convenient - it’s worth doing a google satellite view of the hotel to find the...

"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

"The hotel is really well located to the railway station by using the bridge crossing available directly from inside the station. Room 5 was on the small side, but warm and comfortable. Shower was small but good hot water pressure. The included breakfast was the star of the show. Delicious. Spies was accommodating and a great personality. Lovely quiet area."
