"The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast room was clean and well maintained. The elevator was not clean and the surrounding area around the entrance to the elevator was not clean."

"This appears to be a family run hotel. The folks at the front desk as well as all other non-family employees are way above average nice and friendly. The breakfast was GREAT best biscuits and gravy I have ever had at a hotel and the good make your own waffles 😊. For a lower cost hotel it was clean and neat. We would recommend this to all but our snobbiest friends as a good place to stay if you are coming to the New River Gorge, very centrally located for all the main US Park visitor centers. Travel Tip - Do not miss the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine !!"

"Breakfast workers were exceptionally effecient, a real plus to the property. I didn’t get a receipt from the front desk. Said a 3rd party would give me one? This is unaccaptable, I should ALWAYS get a receipt when requested. "

The area is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. What stood out most was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. From check-in to check-out, the staff were always friendly, helpful, and courteous, making me feel right at home. There's no shortage of attractions either. The area is full of attractions and great opportunities for activities, whether you enjoy hiking, cycling, or simply sightseeing. Nearby restaurants and shops also offer a wide selection, so there's something for everyone. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing yet active getaway in the great outdoors."
