Fuengirola is the perfect shorthaul destination. Good clean beaches, great restaurants and plenty to do if you want it, yet quiet areas if you don't. The local train is perfect, reliable and cheap to visit other resorts and also for airport transfers

Good
Fuengirola is a nice relaxing coastal resort. However, there is a lack of entertainment/ cultural or heritage shows. Moreover, it is some distance away from historical/ Andalusian tourism sites such as Granada/Seville.

Great town to spend a few days in. Lovely clean beach and great food choices in the streets around Constitution Square. We only visit in the quiet times of the year and usually make it part of a longer holiday. Train and bus connections excellent

Nice bars and restaurants around the streets. Felt safe. A police presence but no trouble even though football was on. Selling and begging at restaurant tables. Great street entertainment, not sure if licensed as disappeared if police were around.

This is a nice place for staying and a large choice of bars restaurants and places to go . Not too far from the big shopping centre Myramar and a nice long beach with easy access to and from Malaga airport with transport links on the buses

Quite lively even out of season and very walkable not having the hills of other resorts nearby. Great rail link to the airport with excellent services.

"This property was perfect for myself and my two children. Very close to the beach 5 minute walk. There are so many restaurants and shops to go to. Also the train station is 9 minute walk away so very easy to get around. We really enjoyed our stay and would def go back.
Hotel has just renovated around the pool lots of loungers. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice and staff were lovely. "
"The area is just perfect and every food craving will be satisfied by walking 5 minutes. The beach in front is perfectly accessible and walking to the mall is also great. "
"The grounds and buildings were all well maintained and clean. The room was adequate, had a nice terrace with a view. Breakfast was good. Staff were all friendly. The bar near the pool was reasonably priced and had good service. Plenty of seating available around the pool. Not a bad walk to downtown and the boardwalk. Parking spaces were tight. Not used to that. I would stay there again if I were going to that area again. "
"Excellent apartments in a good location. Very close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Very quiet at night which was nice. Didn’t use the pool as we went on the beach each day. Better than we had expected. Very clean and excellent value for the price we paid. Will definitely book again "
"Stayed here in July 25 with my 74 year old mum and two 14 year old girls. Perfect location and amenities. Girls had their own room and bathroom as did we. Well located for getting around etc. very clean and comfortable "
